Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

These terms apply to all bookings made with Achilles Clinic, operated by Achilles Triumph Ltd. By booking a session you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

1. About Us

Achilles Clinic is operated by Achilles Triumph Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

2. Booking and Confirmation

2.1 Appointments can be booked via the online booking system at achillesclinic.co.uk/book, by email to info@achillesmethod.co.uk, or by phone.

2.2 A booking is confirmed when you receive a written confirmation from us (email or SMS). Until confirmation is received, an appointment is not guaranteed.

2.3 You must provide accurate contact details and a complete health history at the time of booking. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect your treatment and, where it leads to harm, limits our liability.

2.4 New clients are required to complete a health intake form before their first session. This form must be submitted at least 24 hours before the appointment.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

3.1 Standard cancellation notice: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment.

3.2 Late cancellation (less than 24 hours' notice): 50% of the session fee will be charged.

3.3 No-show (failure to attend without notice): 100% of the session fee will be charged.

3.4 How to cancel: Contact us by email at info@achillesmethod.co.uk or by phone. Cancellations received outside business hours are timestamped at receipt — if you email at 10pm for a 9am appointment the following morning, this is treated as a same-day cancellation.

3.5 Cancellation by us: If we cancel an appointment for any reason, we will offer you the option of rescheduling at no additional cost or a full refund. We are not liable for indirect costs arising from a clinic-side cancellation (for example, travel expenses).

3.6 Memberships and multi-session packages: Unused sessions in a package cannot be refunded but can be rescheduled within the validity period of the package. Membership terms are detailed in Section 7.

4. Payment

4.1 All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

4.2 Payment is taken at the time of booking or at the point of service, using Stripe, our secure payment processor. We accept major debit and credit cards. We do not accept cash.

4.3 Membership payments are processed as recurring charges via Stripe. By purchasing a membership, you authorise Achilles Triumph Ltd to charge your payment method on the agreed recurring schedule.

4.4 If a payment fails, we will attempt to contact you. Sessions will be held for 48 hours pending payment resolution. After 48 hours, the appointment may be released.

4.5 All prices are subject to change. Changes will not affect bookings already confirmed at the previous price.

5. Health, Medical History, and Contraindications

5.1 Soft tissue therapy is a physical intervention. You are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical information before your session, including (but not limited to): current medications, recent surgery, cardiovascular conditions, skin conditions, active infections, pregnancy, and any diagnosed medical conditions.

5.2 If you withhold information that is material to the safety of your treatment, and harm results from that omission, our liability is limited to the extent that the harm was caused or contributed to by your omission.

5.3 Achilles Clinic reserves the right to decline or stop treatment at any time where the practitioner considers it clinically inappropriate to proceed. Where a session is terminated on these grounds, a partial fee may be charged reflecting the time already delivered.

5.4 If you are under the care of a GP, physiotherapist, or other healthcare professional, it is your responsibility to inform them that you are receiving soft tissue therapy. We recommend obtaining medical clearance before booking if you have any concerns about suitability.

5.5 Soft tissue therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Nothing in our communications, website, or sessions constitutes medical advice. See our Privacy Policy for details on how health data is stored and protected.

6. Scope of Services

6.1 Achilles Clinic provides soft tissue therapy services including sports massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, cupping therapy, assisted stretching, and clinical assessment. These are manual therapy services, not medical treatment.

6.2 Practitioners at Achilles Clinic hold professional qualifications in soft tissue therapy. They are not licensed physicians and do not diagnose medical conditions.

6.3 Clinical records are maintained for each client. These records are the property of Achilles Triumph Ltd but you have the right to access them under UK GDPR (see our Privacy Policy).

6.4 Outcomes from soft tissue therapy vary between individuals. We do not guarantee specific clinical results.

7. Packages

7.1 Package plans are as published on the Packages page. Plan details, prices, and session allowances are governed by the terms displayed at the time of purchase.

7.2 Packages are personal and non-transferable.

7.3 To cancel a package, give 30 days' written notice to info@achillesmethod.co.uk. No refunds are issued for partially-used package periods. Sessions already included in the current billing cycle remain available until the end of that cycle.

7.4 Achilles Triumph Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate a package in cases of repeated late cancellation or no-show (defined as 2 or more no-shows in a 12-month period without adequate notice).

8. Gift Cards

8.1 Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

8.2 Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

8.3 Gift cards are redeemable against any treatment or package, online at checkout at achillesclinic.co.uk/book-a-treatment.

8.4 Lost gift card codes cannot be replaced if the card has already been redeemed.

8.5 Full value applies; gift cards are not discounted.

9. Liability

8.1 Achilles Triumph Ltd maintains public liability insurance appropriate to the services provided.

8.2 We are not liable for: loss or damage to personal property brought to the clinic; indirect or consequential losses; or any loss arising from your failure to provide accurate health information.

8.3 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8.4 Where you sustain an adverse reaction directly caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment session in which the incident occurred, unless a greater liability is required by law or insurance.

10. Intellectual Property

9.1 All content on achillesclinic.co.uk — including text, images, graphics, the Achilles Method framework, and brand assets — is the intellectual property of Achilles Triumph Ltd and protected by copyright.

9.2 You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute any content from this website without prior written permission.

11. Complaints

10.1 If you have a complaint about a session or our service, contact us at info@achillesmethod.co.uk within 14 days of the appointment.

10.2 We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and resolve them within 14 business days.

10.3 If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, you may refer it to the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM) or another relevant professional body.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Updated terms are published at achillesclinic.co.uk/terms with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify current clients by email. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
